Overview
On-field photography for Cal Bears Athletics and CSU East Bay Pioneers with same-day Photoshelter delivery during games.
The Challenge
Cal Bears Athletics and CSU East Bay Pioneers needed game-day photography at editorial speed — frames in the hands of social, comms and brand teams the same day, covering action, brand and editorial in a single shift.
The Approach
As a contributing photographer with KLC fotos, built a shot list that triages every play for three uses — action for social, brand frames for athletic department channels and editorial frames for features. Culled, toned and uploaded to Photoshelter between quarters so comms could publish while the game was still on.
The Outcome
Same-day turnaround on every game covered, building a multi-season library for both programs.
